Maria Corrigan

Maria has been actively training dogs since 2005. She has been involved with care and training of exotic animals such as birds of prey and parrots for over 10 years.

Maria began her dog training assistance program at Four Paws Academy in 2007, and assists in Obedience and Agility classes. She is currently competing with her 2 year old Labrador Retriever, Willcare Gypsy Shadow (aka Kirby), in Rally and AKC Novice agility and training for competition in obedience.

Kathy Sawyer

Kathy has been a professional dog trainer since 2005. She has owned dogs for 30 years and has been actively training since 1995.  Kathy has trained her Golden Retrievers in obedience, tracking, and agility. Kathy works with and manages PAWS Petsitting and also shares her home with two cats and her thirteen year old Dachshund/Lhasa Apso mix, Lila Rose CGC.

Presently, her five-year old golden Emily (Dashwood’s Winning Spirit TD, CGC, NAC, OJC, OCC, TG-N, PK1, PG1, PJ2, TDI), a therapy dog, is working towards her AKC Tracking Excellent and Novice Agility titles. Emily and Kathy are also competing at the PII and PIII level in USDAA and the Open/Elite level in NADAC.  Kathy is currently competing with her three-year old Golden Retriever “Ellie” (Dashwood’s Shining Light NAC, CGC, TDI) in the novice levels of AKC, USDAA and NADAC agility and training for obedience competition.
